Lessons learned at the Italian Congress for the Study of Focused Shock Waves (FST)
Good evening from Italy,
I extend my personal greetings from my centres and from Italy of Shock Waves to the members of the IFSWT and to Daniel Moya for having wanted my centres as founder members and again for having wanted to appoint me coordinator for Europe of the IFSWT and also for having strongly wanted to organize this webinar "welcome Italy"
Greetings from Italy to all participants in this international webinar.
With my friend Daniel Moya at the end of my congress on the 25th of March we decided to bring to the attention of the international scientific world the issues addressed and the data collected in my centers by the 4 Italian orthopedic schools UniMoRe, UniRoma1 Sapienza, UniRoma 2 Tor Vergata and Magna Grecia University, data relating to regenerative treatments with Focal Shock Waves, a large part of the Italian university orthopedic schools was present at that Congress together with the President Dott Sergio Gigliotti and the Past President Dott.ssa Maria Cristina D’Agostino of SITOD and the territorial hospital orthopedics.
The prospective data of the Multicenter Retrospective Study at two, six months and one year gave stable positive results in a variable percentage between eighty and ninety-five percent in the four pathologies object of the collection of the 4 Universities in my centres.
I present to you the doctors in orthopedic training who collected the data for the 4 Italian orthopedic schools :
Dr Alessandro Donà and Dr Matteo Cempini Orthopedic Specialist of UniMoRe Schools , Dr Matteo Cantore Ortopedic Specialist of Sapienza UniRoma 1 Schools, Dr Salvatore Maria Tecce Orthopedic Specialist of Tor Vergata UniRoma 2 Schools, the of Orthopedics Schools of Magna Grecia is not present drtoday due to an internal event at the University, dr Alessandro Donà of Ortopedic School UniMoRe i will inform about the data collection of shoulder pathology, data collected by the Orthopedic School the University of Magna Graecia
